We are extremely pleased to share the Thrive Impact Fund 2024 Impact Report, showcasing a year of growth, resilience, and catalytic capital in action. In a time of economic uncertainty, Thrive provided flexible, equity-like financing to impact organizations solving today’s most pressing challenges, ranging from affordable housing and food security to sustainable technologies and Indigenous data sovereignty.
Key highlights from the report:
- $3.4 million deployed across 15 investments, including 6 bridge loans, 4 term loans, and 1 revenue-based finance deal
- 69% of investments were into women-led enterprises, with 30% self-identified as underrepresented founders
- Thrive’s portfolio includes non-profits, co-ops, Indigenous-led organizations, and for-profit social enterprises
Beyond financial capital, Thrive provided individualized coaching, peer learning circles, and support through due diligence, impact reporting, and capacity building. The fund continues to lead in national conversations about Blended and Catalytic Capital, participating in the Catalytic Capital Lab, Social Finance Forum, and co-hosting key convenings across Canada.
Thrive’s work is grounded in the belief that more resources in the hands of impact organizations lead to stronger, more resilient communities. This report offers a transparent, data-informed look at how patient, place-based investment is helping build a regenerative and inclusive future.
